STRONGER TOGETHER!

To win at the bargaining table we need to be well organized and prepared. The five member steering committee will not be able to accomplish this without member participation. Let’s show management we are united in this effort. Volunteer today!

Contract Action Team – comprised of at least 40 members and who serve to facilitate communication with members – both giving updates and also receiving feedback to help guide the Bargaining Committee priorities

Bargaining Committee – comprised of about 20 members who review the current contract and compile any new issues needing to be addressed and draft language for negotiations.

Workload Review Wins
We continue to successfully enforce our union contract, winning better working conditions for our members! If you are working in an area where management has made unilateral changes to your working conditions such as template changes including visit lengths, shift length or time, concern for RIF, we encourage you to reach out to chiefsteward@upamm.org and bobtking@upamm.org.

Floating Holiday Time Reporting for 2026
Despite winning the arbitration for Floating Holiday to cover the entire shift length, only 8 hours have been loaded into the Floating Holiday banks for 2026. If your shift length is greater than 8 hours make sure to document 8 hours Floating Holiday time, plus all additional hours a Holiday time to total your shift length. For example: 12 hour shift = floating holiday 8 hours + holiday 4 hours.

Moonlighters
To help us fight for critical staffing incentives for moonlighting outside your home area, we need to identify PA moonlighters and the areas you are credentialed to moonlight. Please complete the survey below.
