Staffing / Safety Concern
How to Document a Safety or Staffing Concern:
- If safe to do so, let your manager know that you have a concern about your assignment or staffing. This can be brief β you do not need to argue the point.
- Complete the form as soon as possible β same shift or same day is best. Use the Quick form for speed. Use the Full form when you have time to provide more detail. You can do both.
- Your steward receives the reportΒ and will follow up. Your documentation helps UPAMM identify patterns and build the case for safer staffing conditions.
